Hello, we are design duo Sas and Yosh.
A delicious blend of British and Japanese imaginative eccentricity since 2014.
Creating beautifully illustrated pattern & design for fashion, interiors & homewares for cool kids and grown ups.
‘Sas and Yosh’ the design house was founded in 2014 in the U.K. with a focus on quality design and beautiful illustrative prints, by two creative like minded artists Sarah Bellisario and Yoshie Allan.
Sarah (Sas) is a freelance and published illustrator, art lecturer, compulsive children’s book collector, with an MA in Children’s book illustration.
A lover of fine lines, pattern and colour, Sarah loves taking inspiration from different cultures and has a passion for Japanese art.
Yoshie (Yosh) is a freelance illustrator / designer, colour & pattern addict, who has studied & worked in the fashion industry in Tokyo.
She is a Children’s & Adult’s picture book author, and a lover of collage of limitless materials.
Our luxury and quirky, exclusive lifestyle collection includes wallpaper & wall stickers, printed tshirts & sweatshirts, beautifully hand made cushions & bags, stationeries, homewares, art prints and more.
We also create unique bespoke illustrative pattern and design in collaboration with other brands and clients. We design for clients in various countries (including Berlin, NY, Tokyo) working with fashion & interior brands, on projects in public & commercial buildings and on children’s books & other publications.
We both work together on all our designs, using a mixture of Sarah and Yoshie’s hand drawn illustration and combining our work via digital processes.
This means that the resulting patterns and designs are unique to anything else on the lifestyle market today. Our products are made using ethical sources, created with passion and designed with a lot of love of vibrant colours and patterns in mind.
